=> CSA of one pillar = 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 0.28 × 4

= 2 × 0.88 × 4

= 1.76 × 4

= 7.04m²

Rate of painting pillars = ₹8 per m²

=> Cost of painting one pillar = ₹( 7.04 × 8)

= ₹ 56.32

Total cost of painting 24 pillars = ₹( 56.32 × 24 )

= ₹ 1351.68
