next number =x+1

3rd number =x+7

4th number =x+8

then add this all =x+x+1+x+7+x+8

4x+1+7+8=44

that's =4x+16=44

4x=44-16=28

then,28÷4=7

then the numbers are x=7

x+1=8,x+7=14,x+8=15

7+8+14+15=44
