in a case of a fire ,before the fireman use the water hoses,they shut off the main electrical supply for the area.explain why they do this.

in case of fire in the fire man use water office then we know that water is a good conductor of electricity which can harm us so he turns off the electricity supply to prevent from short circuiting from water
