Answer:

Required income of Andrew is $11574.1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, total income of Andrew, Bruce and Chloe is $50,000.

It is also given that the ratio of the amounts spent by Andrew, Bruce and Chloe in that month is 35:90: 64.

Let, amount spent by Andrew be $35x

and amount spent by Bruce be $90x

and amount spent by Chloe be $64x.

According to question,

35x + 90x + 64x = 50000 \\ 189x = 50000 \\ x =  \frac{50000}{189}

So, amount spent by Andrew

 = 35 \times \frac{50000}{189}  \\  =  \frac{5 \times 50000}{27}  \\  =  \frac{250000}{27}

and amount spent by Bruce

 = 90 \times \frac{50000}{189}  \\  =  \frac{10 \times 50000}{21}  \\  =  \frac{500000}{21}

and amount spent by Chloe

 = 64 \times \frac{50000}{189}  \\  =  \frac{3200000}{189}

Now according to question,

Andrew spend 80% of his income.

So, 80% means  \frac{250000}{27}

1% means  \frac{250000}{27 \times 80}

and 100 % means

 \frac{250000 \times 100}{27 \times80 }  \\  = 11574.1

So, income of Andrew is $11574.1
