In a certain orchard, the farmers picked different varieties of fruits. In that there were more number of oranges, apples and pears. Due to the current pandemic situation and the lockdown caused as a result of coronavirus, the farmers were not able to deliver the fruits to the local markets. Instead of that they decided to export the fruits to the international market. For that they needed to pack the fruits in boxes/cartons. They did the packing in the following manner. 210 oranges, 252 apples and 294 pears were equally packed in cartons so that no fruit is left. What is the largest possible number of cartons needed? What is the total number of fruits to be packed? What did we find here? HCF or LCM? What is the reason for the current pandemic situation mentioned in the above case? If the cost of 1 fruit box is ₹1000, find the total cost of the fruit boxes exported.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) the largest possible no of cartons =the HCF of 210, 252,294

we can find hcf of these number we got 42

so the largest possible number of cartons =42

2)756 fruits to be packed

3) in this we can find hcf because the largest possible cartons means the answer should small

4) due of the most dangerous were attacked i.e carona govt has declared lockdown , so there is no transportation to sell these fruits as they have planned

5) if the cost of 1 box= 1000

then the total cost of boxes= ₹42000
