Answer:

15:11

Step-by-step explanation:

Let no. of boys and girls in junior section be 9x and 7x , respectively.

A/Q,

=>9x+7x = 320

=> 16x = 320

=> x = 320/160

=> x = 20

No. of boys in junior section= 9x

9×20 = 180

No. of girls in junior section= 7x

7× 20 = 140

Let no. of boys and girls in senior section be 3x and 2x , respectively

A/Q,

=>3x+2x=200

=>5x=200

=>x=200/5

=>x=40

No. of boys in senior section= 3x

3×40 = 120

No. of girls in senior section = 2x

2×40 = 80

Total no. of Boys in school= 180+120

=> 300

Total no. of Girls in school= 140+80

=> 220

Boy: Girls

=> 300:220

=> 15:11
