Given:-

dimeter = 42cm

angle (θ) = 60 degree

π = 22/7

To find :-

length of an arc:- ?

Solution:-

As we know that

l = r * \theta

(where θ should be in radian.)

so, by putting all given value in thise above example:

We get,

l = 21 * 60 * \frac{\pi}{180}

l = 21 * \frac{\pi}{3}

l = \frac{21}{3} * \frac{22}{7} ----( as it is given tha \pi = \frac{22}{7} )

l = 22\: cm

therefore :-

length of an arc is 22 cm...
