let the OA =7cm, AC=6cm and distance of a chord be CQ
OC= OA×OA-AC×AC
OC =7 × 7 - 6 × 6
OC =49 - 36
OC = 13
therefore distance of chord is 13cm

Answer:5.36cm(approx)

Step-by-step explanation:

▪radius of circle is = 7cm

▪distance of the chord from the

circle=9cm

◇hence, half of chord =1/2*9=4.5cm

Let the distance of chord from centre of circle be"a"

●therefore, other side of triangle formed outside a chord is:

☆H^2=4.5^2+a^2

7^2=20.25+a^2

49=20.25+a^2

a^2=28.75

a=5.36cm(approx)
