diameter is the longest chord of the circle which is 26 CM.

the given length of the chord is 24 cm.

the length of the given chord is 2 cm less than the diameter of the circle.

show the distance of the chord from the centre =

Radius = 26÷2=13

Distance of the chord from the centre=

13-1=12

So I hope this helps you..
