In a circuit 5 and 20 ohms resistors are connected in series and its combination is connected to 15 and 10
ohms resistors in parallel to a battery of 24 volts. Calculate the following:-
a) Current flowing through 20 ohm resistor.
b) Voltage across 15 ohm resistor.​

in series the current is constant

i=v/r

i=24/20

i=1.2A

in parallel voltage is constant

V= i×r

= 1.2×15

=18 V
