In a circular garden of diameter 150 m , a pond is constructed in the form of circle with radius 20 m . Find the area of the land left out . use π=3. 14.

radius of the garden = 150/2 = 75m
radius of the pond = 20m

area of land left out = area of garden - area of pond
= (3.14 * 75*75) - (3.14 * 20*20)
= 17662.5 - 1256
= 16406.5 sq. m
