In a class,60℅ of student failed and 500 students passed. So, the total number that failed is 750 students.
Total=100℅
so, 100-60=40℅
40℅=500
then,
500÷4=125
so, 10℅=125
125×2=250
20℅=250
now,
60℅= 40℅+20
60℅=500+250
60℅=750students failed
Total=100℅
so, 100-60=40℅
40℅=500
then,
500÷4=125
so, 10℅=125
125×2=250
20℅=250
now,
60℅= 40℅+20
60℅=500+250
60℅=750students failed

total students = 100%
students failed = 60%
students passed= 100% -60% = 40 %
according to question 500 students passed
so , let the number of all the students be x
now , 40/100*x=500
x = 1250
total number of students = 1250
students failed = 60 %
number of students failed = 60/100*1250
= 750 students
so 750 students failed in class
