The average marks of class in English =(2695 ÷ 35) = 77

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of student be x.

since \frac{3}{5}  mark increase so the new average marks is (1+\frac{3}{5} )=\frac{8}{5}

so according to problem

(x×\frac{8}{5}) - (x×1)= 90-69

⇒x×(\frac{3}{5})=21

⇒ x= 35

∴The average marks of class in English =(2695 ÷ 35) = 77
