Then Number of Girls = 2/5 X


ACCORDING TO THE GIVEN QUESTION:

X+ 2/5 X = 35

$x + \frac{2}{5} x = 35 \\ \\ \frac{5x + 2x}{5} = 35 \\ \\ \frac{7x}{5} = 35 \\ \\ 7x = 175 \\ \\ x = 25$
