In a class of 45 students 10 play cricket 15 play football 15 play volleyball and 5 play badminton if two students are selected at random find the probability that they play football or cricket​

total no. of students =45

no. of student plays cricket =10

no. of student plays football =15

no. of student plays volley ball =15

no. of student plays badminton =15

no.of possible outcome=10+15=25(as we add no of student playing football or cricket.)

no.of total outcome=45

P(E)=no of possible outcome/total no of outcome

=25/45

=5/9

so probability of that they are playing or cricket is 5/9.
