and the ratio of boys to girls is 3:2

now, let the number of boys be 3x and number of girls be 2x.

so,

3x + 2x = 45

or \:  \: 5x = 45

or \:  \: x = 9

therefore, total number of boys =3x=27 students

and, total number of girls =2x =18 students

then,

i) The no. of girls in the class is 18.

ii)The no. of boys in the class is 27.

III) The ratio of the total no. of boys to the total no. of students is

 \frac{27}{45}

 =  \frac{3}{5}
