We know that total probability = 1

Given

Probability that a girl choosen be X

So the probability of a girl choosen = 2x/3

ACCORDING to questions

X+2x/3 = 1

5x= 3

X = 0.6 (Probability that a girl choosen)

Now

probability of a boy choosen= 1.2/3 = 0.4

Now

ratio of

total number of boy to the total number of students

= 0.4/1 = 4/10 = 2/5 = 2:5
