given for every incorrect answer and no marks for not attempting any question.

Mohini scores -5 marks in this test, she has got 7 correct answers. How many
questions has she attempted incorrectly?

Let no. of wrong answers be x
7 correct answers mean 21 marks
Now she got -5 marks

21 + ( -2x ) = -5
-2x = -5 - 21
-2x = -26
2x = 26
x = 13

SO TOTAL NO. OF INCORRECT ANSWERS = 13
