In a class test containing 15 questions, 4 marks are given for every correct answer and
(-2) marks are given for every incorrect answer. (1) Bharathi attempts all questions but
only 9 answers are correct, What is her total score? (ii) One of her friends Hema attempts
only 5 questions and all are correct. What will be her total score?

Given ,

No.of.marks for correct answer = 4 marks

No.of.marks for incorrect answer =(-2) marks

(1) *Bharati

She got 9 correct answers so her score is = 9*4=36

Then No.of.incorrect answers are 15-9=6

Marks=6*2=12

Total Score = Marks for correct answers -incorrect answers

= 36-12=24

(2)Hema

hema attended only 5 ,all are correct answers.

Her score = 5*4=20

Now

Score of Bharati :- 24 marks

Score of Hema :- 20 marks.
