In a collinear collision a particle with an initial speed v0 strikes a stationary particle of the same mass. If the final total k.E is 50% greater than the original k.E, the magnitude of the relative velocity b/w the two particles, after collisiin

KE = 1/2 mv²

Before collision
1/2mv1¹
After collosion
1/2mv2² x 2 (as its increased by 50%)
so, v² = 2v²
1:2
Velocity becomes double.
