Answer:

\huge\underline\bold {Answer:}

Let x number of people read both the newspapers.

Since 100 do not read any, number of people reading both or either of newspapers

= 175 – 100

= 75

Therefore, (40 – x) + x + (50 – x) = 75

=> x = 15

So, 15 people read both the newspapers.

\huge\red{\underline{✪Answer}}

Since 100 do not read any  newspaper,

n(T∪S)=175−100=75

By set theory formula,

n(T∩S)=n(T)+n(S)−n(T∪S)

=40+50−75=15
