For the first backyard,
Area = 1260 sq m
Breadth = 9 m
So, length = (1260 ÷ 9) m = 140 m
Perimeter = 2 (140+9) m = 298 m
For the second backyard,
Area = 1260 sq m
Breadth = 45 m
So, length = (1260÷45) m = 28 m
Perimeter = 2 (45+28) m = 146 m
Since, the perimeter of first backyard > perimeter of the second backyard
Therefore, the first backyard will require more fencing by (298-146) m = 152 m
Area = 1260 sq m
Breadth = 9 m
So, length = (1260 ÷ 9) m = 140 m
Perimeter = 2 (140+9) m = 298 m
For the second backyard,
Area = 1260 sq m
Breadth = 45 m
So, length = (1260÷45) m = 28 m
Perimeter = 2 (45+28) m = 146 m
Since, the perimeter of first backyard > perimeter of the second backyard
Therefore, the first backyard will require more fencing by (298-146) m = 152 m
