In a competitive exam, 3 marks are given for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. Raju copied some answers from Reema and answered all the questions. He scored 20 marks though he got 10 correct answers. How many incorrect answers had he attempted? What value is missing in Raju?

Raju attempted all the questions.

He got 10 correct answers.

He got 'x' wrong answers (Here I assume it to be x as I don't know how many incorrect answers he has got)

As a tally, Raju got 20 marks.

So, 3(10) - 1(x) = 20

30 - x = 20

-x = 20 - 30 = -10

x = 10

Raju attempted 10 questions incorrectly.

Raju failed to show honesty through this. Cheating is a bad virtue, and hence, these 20 marks which Raju has earned are not applicable to him. He should learn to work hard and stand on his own feet.
