Total quantity of mixture= Milk+Water = 385 ml +1155ml

=1540 ml

15% mixture was taken out,

taken out quantity of mixture= 1540×15/100ml

231 ml.

According the sum , same amount of milk was added again,

that means 231 ml milk was added, so new quantity of milk in mixture was = (385+231)ml=616ml

therefore,

now percentage of milk in new mixture= (616÷1540×100)ml= 40 ml

Ans:-- percentage of milk in new mixture is 40%

Answer:

36.25%

Step-by-step explanation:

total quantity of mixture = milk + water

= 385 + 1155

= 1540 ml

milk% in the mixture = 385÷ 1540 × 100

= 0.25 × 100

= 25%

= 25 / 100

Ratio of milk = 1 / 4

when 15% of mixture is taken out i.e

15% of 1540

= 15/ 100 × 1540

= 231 ml

1540 - 231 = 1309 ml remaining quantity

If we remove any quantity from mixture but the ratio of contents remain same. So in 1309 ml milk ratio is 1 / 4

Quantity of milk in 1309 ml = 1 / 4 × 1309 = 327.25 ml

Now , in this quantity again 231 ml milk is added

i.e. 327.25 + 231 = 558.25 ml

558.25 ÷ 1540 × 100

= 0.3625 × 100

= 36.25 %
