The area of a rhombus is 84cm square and one of its diagonals is 12cm.find the length of the other diagonal.

muskanagrawal: area of rhombus =1/2 × d1×d2
muskanagrawal: 84 = 1/2×12 ×d2
muskanagrawal: 84 = 6
muskanagrawal: 84/6=d2
muskanagrawal: so,d2 =14

area of rhombus =1/2×d1×d2
84=1/2×12×d2
d2=84/6
d2=14cm

Hence length of second diagonal is 14 cm

Hola

Here's your answer -

Given - Area of Rhombus - 84cm²

One of its diagonal = 12 cm

To find - The other diagonal of the Rhombus

Calculation -
Area = 1/2 × (Product of diagonals)

That is,

Area = 1/2 × d1 × d2

here, d1 = 12cm

Let the other diagonal be x

84 = 1/2 × 12 × x

84 = 6x

x = 84/6

=> 14 cm

Therefore the measure of other diagonal is

14 cm

Hope it helps!
