in a cricket match a batsman hit a boundary 12 times out of 48 balls he play find the probability that he does not hit a boundary in the next ball

to find probability:-

total outcomes = 48

no. of times he hit boundary = 12

no. of times he do not hit boundary( E ) = 36

so, p( E ) = 36/48 => 3/4

probability of not hitting boundary next time = 37/49
