The batsman hit boundary on 20% of the balls he played. So the ratio of boundary balls and non-boundary balls he played is 1:4.

Let the no. of boundary balls be 1x and non-boundary balls be 4x.

Total no.of balls he played=1x+4x= 5x.

P(Did not hit a boundary)=4x/5x=4/5
