No. Of wickets taken by Kimble = 2x-3

(2x-3)( x) =20

2x^2-3x- 20= 0

2x^2 - 8x +5x - 20 =0

2x(x-4) + 5(x-4) =0

2x + 5 = 0

X = - 2.5

X-4=0

X= 4

We will discard the first value as no. of wickets cannot be negative.

Therefore no. of wickets taken by Shrinath is 4

No. of wickets taken by Kimble = 2x -3

=1
