As far as i have seen cricket, there is a series of league matches followed by knockouts.

The sequence goes like this

1. If 2 Pools, Pool A and Pool B is made consisting of 3 teams each.

#Now 3 teams in Pool A play either one/two matches against each opponent in a round robin style, that is
