Let the radius of the cylinder be 'r' and  the height of the cylinder be 'h'.

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

Now, radius become  doubled = 2r

Height becomes halved = h/2

New curved surface area = 2 × π × 2r × h/2 = 2πrh

Hence curved surface area is SAME.

Option (C) Same is correct.
