let h height rise in cylinder,

side length of cube=diagonal /root3
=8root3/3 =8 cm
volume of rise part in cylinder =volume of cubical solid
pi.r^2.h=(side length)^3
22/7 x 10 x 10 x h=(8)^3
22x 100/7 x h= 8 x 8 x 8
22 x 100/7 x h=512
h=512 x 7/2200
=1.62 cm

hence new height of liquid is (9+1.62)=110.62 cm
