Answer:

In a democracy, the power is distributed among as many people as possible. This is to avoid one person or few individuals monopolising all the power, which may cause a nation or a government to receive a resistance. This way the power is held by the majority, and therefore when a idea or a action is taken, it must be supported by a majority of the people or may cause riots, rebellions, revolts, etc.

it is also that power must be divided among as many citizens as possible that the majority gain power. but this may backlash, because of the fact that the majority hold superior power, it may supress the minority.

The government, in a democracy, is needed to be form by individuals who have been supported by the people. Because in a democracy, the people hold upmost power of how they are ruled.
