In a electric circuit , a resistor of 5 Ampere resistance is connected to a battery of 5V through an ammeter and a plug a key . now , in this circuit , an another resistor of 10 Ampere resistance is connected in series. Will there be any change in the ammeter reading ? how much?

Given: -

R1 = 5

R2 = 5

R3 = 10

V = 5

A = ?

Solve: -

R = R1 + R2 + R3

R = 5 + 5 + 10

R = 20

By Ohm's law

I = V/R

I = 5/20

I = 0.25 A.
