Let the proportionality constant is x
then, salary of skilled workers is 5x
and salary of unskilled workers is 3x

A/C to question,
total salary of one day of both of them is 720.
e.g., salary of skilled workers in one day + salary of unskilled workers = 720
=> 5x + 3x = 720
=> 8x = 720
=> x = 90

hence, daily wages of skilled workers = 5x = 5 × 90 = 450
daily wages of unskilled workers =3x = 3 × 90 = 270
