After 2 days we are left with 6 days.

Now If 20 animals consume food in 6 days then 1 animal will consume it in 20*6 = 120 days.

But now we have 20+10 = 30 animals.

Now, If 1 animal consume it in 120 days then 30 animals will consume it in 120/30 = 4 days.
