In a figure ABCD is rhombus. If AB=10cm and daignol AC=12cm. Find the daignal of the angle BD

AC = 12cm

So, 1/2AC = 1/2×12 = 6cm

To find the diagonal of BD , we use pythagorean theorem

= (h)² = (p)² + (b)²

= (CD)² = (OD)² + ( OC)²

= (10)² = (OD)² + (6)²

= 100 = (OD)² + 36

= 100- 36 = (OD)²

= 64 = (OD)²

= \/64 ( under root 64) = OD

= 8 = OD

So, diagonal of BD is

= OD × 2 = 8 × 2 = 16cm
