In a figure AC = 24 cm BC = 10 cm and O is the centre of the circle . Find the shaded part.

Thank you for asking this question. Here is your answer:

AB 2 = AC 2  + B C2

= 24.24 + 10.10

= 576 + 100

= 676 cm²

So AB will be 26 cm

And the radius of circle would be 26/2

= 13 cm

Now we will calculate the area of the shaded portion:

= area of the semi circle – area of the triangle

=  ½ pie r2 – ½ base x height

= ½ x 3.14 x  13 x 13 – ½ x 10 x 24

= 145.33 cm² is the final answer.
