In a figure,the parallel lines l and m are cut by a transversal n. If angle 1 and angle 2 are (5x-10)degree and (3x+60)degree respectively,then find the measures of angle 1 and angle 2.

Since l &m are cut by a tansversal n angle 1 & angle 2 are likely to be complementary angles.so angle 1 =angle 2 since they are complementary angles.
5x-10=3x+60
5x-3x=60+10
2x=70
x=35
