In a fission reaction 92U235 nucleus is bombarded with a neutron. The reaction is represented by the following equation.
92U235+ on1 ( 42Mo98 + 54Xe136 + 2 on1 + 4e-.
Calculate the energy released during the reaction.
Assume atomic masses of 92U235, 42Mo98, 54Xe136 to be 235.044amu, 97.9054amu and 135.907amu respectively (rest mass of on1 =1.009amu, rest mass of e- =0.000549amu)
