In a food chain, organisms found in the levels of the food chain usually tend to have the highest levels of toxic substance accumulated in their bodies.
This occurrence is majorly due to bioamplification also known as biological magnification or just biomagnification.
Biological magnification can be defined as the increase in concentration of substances, especially toxic chemical substances in the tissues of organisms and at successively higher levels of the food chain.
In this food chain we have been given, the bird is at the top of the food chain and is likely to be the organism with the highest accumulation of toxic substance in its body.( grass---->insect---->frog---->bird)
