Answer:

Solution:

Suppose the numerator be x

& Denominator be ( x+2)

✧According to the Question,

the fraction be x/x+2

✧When the numerator decreased by 4

we have,

⟹ x-4/x+2 ..........(i)

✧When the denominator increased by 12

⟹ x/x+2+12

⟹ x/x+14 .........(ii)

According to the Question to the Solve:

 \frac{x - 4}{x + 2}  =  \frac{x}{x + 14}

(x - 4)(x + 14) = x(x + 2)

 {x}^{2}  + 10x - 56 =  {x}^{2}  + 2x

10x - 2x = 56

8x = 56

x = 7

So,

the Fraction will be x /x+2

⟹ 7/7+2

⟹7/9
