Let the fraction be x/y

Given,

fraction = y+4/y

Now, y +4+5/y+5 = 4/3
=> y+9/y+5 = 4/3
=> 3(y+9) = 4(y+5)
=> 3y + 27= 4y + 20
=> y = 7

thus, the original fraction is
11/7

Answer:

Let: The Numerator of original fraction be 'x'

      The Denominator of original fraction = x + 4

= x + 5/(x + 4) + 5

= x + 5/x + 9 = 3/4

= 4 (x + 5) = 3 (x + 9)

= 4 (x + 20) = 3x + 27

= 4x - 3x = 27 - 20

= 1x = 7

= x = 7/1 = 7

= x = 7

∴ Numerator of original fraction = 7

Denominator of original fraction = x + 4

                                                      = 7 + 4

                                                      = 11

∴ The fraction is 7/11
