The discount percent in this deal is 10 percent.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total price of cot and almirah without discount is = (Cot price) + (Almirah Price)

                                                                                   = 15000+25000

                                                                                    = 40000 Rs.

Total price of cot and almirah with discount is = 36000  ( given)

The discount given in Rs is = (original price) - (price after discount)

                                             = 40000 - 36000

                                             = 4000 Rs.

Total discount given in percent = (Discount / Total Price) X 100

                                                    = (4000/40000) X 100

                                                     = (1/10) X 100

                                                     = 10 %

The discount percent in this deal is 10 %.
