in a game of tug of war when both the terms pull the the rope with equal and opposite forces of 5N each,the rope remain stationary.

a) what is the net force acting of the rope?

b)name search pair of force?

c)state one change that can be caused by this forces

(a) Net force acting on the rope is zero .Since, equal forces acting in opposite direction cancel each other.

(b) Such forces are called balanced force.

(c)This type of force can not cause any apparent change.However, they can introduce tension in the rope.
