In a given ammeter a student sees that needle indicates 17 divisions in ammeter while performing an experiment to verify ohm law . if ammeter has 10 division between o and 0.5A then what is the value corresponding to 17 divisions?
PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THE EXACT REASON

10 divisions -0.5A
1 division - 0.5/10= 1/20A
17 divisions- 17*1/20 A= 17/20A= 0.85A

Answer:

0.85 A

Explanation:

Given :

10 division of an ammeter is between 0 to 0.5 A

For 1 division :

= > 0.5 / 10 A

= > 5 / 100 = 1 / 20 A

Now for 17 divisions :

= > 17 / 20

= > 0.85 A .

Hence corresponding to 17 divisions is 0.85 A.
