in a given figure , PQM is a line and SQ ll RM . Prove that ar(PQR) = ar(PMS)​

Here,∆QRS and ∆SQM lie on the same base SQ and same parallels SQ and RM.

• ar(RSQ) = ar(SMQ)

Now,adding ar(PSQ) on both sides,

• ar(PSQ) + ar(SRQ) = ar(SMQ) + ar(PSQ)

• ar(PQR) = ar(PMS)

HENCE PROVED:)
