Answer:

Let n(c) be the symbol of coffee n n(t) for tea

NOW given things are

(CUT) = 50

(T) = 30

(T intersection C' ) =14

NOW

(T intersection C' )= (T) -(T intersection C) ( its a formula

Now put the value in this formula

14=30 - (T INTERSECTION C)

(T intersection C)= 30-14

(T INTERSECTION C) = 16 ( no. Of persons drink coffee n tea both)

Now

(C union T) = (T) +(C) - (T intersection C)

Put the values

50 = 30+(C) -16

50=(C)+14

(C)=50-14

(C) = 36 ( no. Of persons drinks coffee)

(C intersection t') = ( c)- (c intersection t)

(C intersection t') = 36 - 16

= 20 ( no of persons drink coffee but not tea)
