In a group of 50 students 20 likes only math and 15 likes only science, if the number of students who do not like any of two subject is double of the number of students who like both subject, find the number of students who like at most one subjects using venn – diagram.

no.of student who do not like any subject- 10

number of students who like both subject- 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of student who like both sub be x

then number of the student who do not like any subject- 2x

Total no.of students- 50

No. of students likes math- 20

number of student who like science - 15

total number of students who like Math and Science - 35

so rest of the student to not like any subject and some student like both subject

So A/Q- x + 2x=15

3x=15

x=15/3

x=5

so number of students who like both subject is equal to X so the number of students who like both subject are 5

and number of a student who do not like any subject is equal to 2 X so they are 10 in numbers
