Given:

In a group of 60 persons, 35 like coffee.

To find:

The probability that he or she does  not like coffee

Solution:

Probability of happening any of the events is given bu the ratio of the favourable outcomes to the total number of the outcomes.

Probability is just the possibility of happening of any of the events in the given situation.

As per the given question:

Total persons are 60

And the number of persons who like coffee is 35

So the number of persons who don't like coffee is 60-35 = 25

Probability = Persons who don't like coffee/Total number of the people

P(E) = 25 / 60

P(E) = 5/12

So the probability of getting the person who don't coffee is 5/12
