in a grouped frequency distribution the class intervals are 1-10, 11-20,21-30 and so on . what is the class width ?

First of all convert the class intervals in true class intervals ( 0.5-10.5,10.5-20.5....) and then find the class width.

Class width is the difference between the upper (or lower) class intervals of two consecutive classes.

Here it is 20.5-10.5=10
